Why I love my job!

Today was an awesome day! When I went back to school to become an Education Assistant I had a few reasons why I felt this was what I was supposed to do. Besides the fact I loved working with kids is that MY kids are such an important part of my life I didn't want to be a working mom getting home at 6pm. I know in life it is very difficult for working mothers to get that perfect balance of work life where they feel like they have a purpose (other then changing diapers. Lol ) to have an important place in your life that is your own and that challenges you. I never had a huge urge to be a stay at home mom cause its a tough job! Lol so where is the balance? Well for me I know I have 100% found that perfect place that I needed. Today was a perfect example of that!! School year is coming to an end (only 2.5 days left)!!! And that means field trips, field trips, field trips! Today was the grade 4/5 activity day and I got to go along with a group to hike Teapot hill in Chilliwack which I never had done so I was excited. It was a great hike and even though it poured it was still fun! Finished it off with a day at the lake with the rest of the students. Lucky me I got to go with Logan and he loved having me there which was even cooler. So here are some pictures of my awesome day! Feels pretty cool to get paid to hang out and hike with your kid all day ;)

Logan a pro slider??

Well this is what his team says! Says Logan should teach a class on sliding as he is perfect at it! Funny as this is his first year ever doing it. Lol. 

Well folks baseball season has officially ended tonight for Logan's team. We had an amazing season even though we lost a ton and didn't make it to playoffs. Lol. Logan has never gone a whole season of something without complaining or not wanting to go. He loved every ore rice and every game. Had a blast and was fully into it. I knew he hadn't played in a few years but he played his little heart out and we are so proud of him! I think he officially gets the award for most walks on the team! Proud momma ;) he learned a ton and he says he is ready for another year next year! I loved his coaches and hope we can get them all again. Here are some pics from tonight! 3 days down and Adrian is done and mommy gets her life back !! Lol. Just kidding (kinda) as this has been my favorite baseball season yet :D

My baby is 4!

Well my last birthday of the season! My littlest child is not so little anymore :( Colby has turned 4! He waited patiently through the other birthdays and knew he was going to Castle Fun park. We didn't so a big party like the boys had as he isn't in school yet so just did a simple evening there with us and a few others. Colby had a great time, loaded up on candy and terrible food that I haven't been letting him have, And with everyone's tickets he ended up with some cute prizes and he cleaned up pretty good! 

Now that he is 4 he is pretty set on being in a booster seat. He has counted down the days. I told him unfortunately he has to gain 5 pounds still! Lol. He is just too tiny. I told him to gain weight he has to eat super healthy and lots of fruit and veggies ;)
