Back to school pics!!

A couple weeks late but here folks is the 2013-2014 official home opener photos!
Logan is sticking strong with being  Tug Boater just like his dad, Adrian switched his up to another type of hometown Hero job and good old Colby had a great choice of someone that cleans the city... A Garbage Man :)

The "Line-up"

Soccer kickoff Saturday with cousins!

Well this weekend sure was a busy one!! We had Charlie and Dylan for the weekend as well as kickoff soccer season!! Boys first games !! The day went well and they had a blast. Colby has literally been waiting like 4 years for his first soccer game and the minute they did there kickoff cheer he burst into tears and said it was too loud!! lol. with alittle coaching and pep talk he was on the field and scored a goal the very first play.. haha. here are some pictures of the day at soccer. Later in the day we went and took all the kids to the park and had a sushi picnic.

Colby has been waiting and waiting!!...

I know that it has been a LONG time since I have posted and I have a lot of summer memories to post about but until I actually get to that I want to continue posting some day to day little things again!!

Colby has been playing with soccer balls since he was a baby, I've been told he is a pretty awesome ball handler from my friends so I've been pretty pumped about finally getting him into soccer!!
Colby has been basically wearing and sleeping (if he could) his new shin pads and soccer socks since last week. Lol. Today was his first practice and he had so much fun! (Of course played shy at first) but got into it. He looks like he is in his hay-day! He got his uniform and cool bag and he is already for sat :) we have both boys playing sat so ill update with more pictures. We even have Charlie and Dylan to come and cheer on the boys!
Here is Colby tonight after practice.

Weirdly proud of myself

So the last few months or so I've been on a big kick to get rid of all the processed food in my kids diets, especially sugar levels and things made with chemicals and terrible ingredients you can't even pronounce. I've been doing ALOT of making my own things from scratch and I've been really enjoying it. Some of my favorites so far has been homemade yogurt, granola, and now I found the perfect granola bar for the kids that they love! I know longer buy any cereal, granola bars, yogurt tubes, cookies etc that I used to :) the kids fought me alittle at first but have really enjoyed the things I've been making. Today I also made my own jam with no sugar and only 3 ingredients:) Anyway back to the granola bar, I did one with chocolate chips and another batch with craisins, almonds and chocolate chips. They are no bake and ill put recipe on bottom.  Here are some pictures of my granola bars today. 2 batches made around 40-50 bars which I've frozen and will through in kids lunches.
Here is the recipe, it's all over Facebook so I'm sure you have seen it :)
