Well the time has come, my first child has officially hit double digits. I can't believe that it has been 10 years since he has been born. It's funny as I actually can't really remember my life before he was in it, seems like he has always "been there" it has been a long 10 years and been thru so much as a family and watching him grow up and seeing him in this new state of confidence, awesomely random personality of goofy, serious, sensitive and just plain loving. I sure am proud of him even though I tell him 20x a day I hope he always knows that. I've seen such incredible happiness in him this year as I truly feel he has "found himself". He is loving his new school, had a WONDERFUL group of boys that he is apart of, showing indepedance in skootering home with his friends, hanging out with them on Friday nights at the pool and just all this freedom, new experiences and he is so incredibly happy it's awesome. Anyway I'm babbling and being sappy. I did cry 20 times that day. Lol
For his birthday I let him have a sleepover party finally and what a great year with all his new friends to have it too! Well I didn't know what I had gotten myself into but what a doozy of a night! Great laughs, extremely hyper boys, video games, junk food, trampoline, movies. I had a crazy evening and 5 very tired boys in the morning after their (almost) all nighter. Lol. Logan said best birthday ever so job well done mommy!
