Riverwalk!

I've been really wanting the boys to get outside more (not that we aren't outside lots, but I want to be more and have it "unstructured" play in nature instead of soccer, or a walk around block or bike ride/scooter etc) I want to take them more places which encourage them to seek what it is thats around them, learn stuff, tough stuff etc. Its a big thing my Kindergarten teacher is teaching in her class about this type of learning that she is learning about in her Masters and it really is important. This weekend has been lots of it, (Ill write the second day pics in the next post) Since it's October and its spawning salmon season and Ive actually never gone and watched them spawn before we took a walk on the river and also ventured out through some paths with no bikes today. It was a fabulous walk, kids loved it, no fighting, beautiful sunshine, and lots of interesting and fun things to talk about and look at. Here are some pics :)
